Will my door be damaged when it is opened?
If the door has just slammed shut but is not locked, the locksmith can usually open it without drilling. If the door is locked, the lock cylinder usually has to be drilled. The door itself is not damaged – only the cylinder is replaced, which the locksmith does on the spot.
Do I need to register?
